The <\/span>need for visibility of enterprise architecture <\/span>is high in 2022 <\/span>as <\/span>companies <\/span>continue to <\/span>manage <\/span>complex <\/span>digital<\/span> ecosystems<\/span>, security and political risks <\/span>and growth<\/span> goals<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span> IT budgets are also <\/span>about<\/span> to hit a tipping point, with cloud due to count for over <\/span>5<\/span>0<\/span>% <\/span>of IT <\/span>spending around 2025.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

CIOs and boards know they need good visibility into IT usage and costs. The key first step is accurate portfolios of technology, applications and systems, both cloud and on-premise<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

O\u2019Neill says that increased enterprise architecture workloads can be assisted by two things.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Firstly, ensuring ownership of data management and process modelling tasks are in the hands of data owners across the enterprise who can quickly update a description in a browser-based list or adjust a web-based diagram.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Secondly, by automating enterprise architecture. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>Automate calculations of key analytics with algorithms, automate diagram layout, automate incomplete data management with machine learning, automate data updates with APIs and integrations.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
