Enterprise architecture firm Avolution<\/a> has reported increased growth in software sales over the first half of 2017, and is expanding its London offices.<\/h6>\n

Avolution EMEA regional manager Peter Collins said demand for enterprise architecture<\/a> modeling and analytics software and expertise was high, as both private and government enterprises geared up for a perfect storm of business demands, including new legislation such as the EU GDPR<\/a>, and crucial re-engineering and digital transformation efforts.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a big demand for talented professionals who can make sense of multiple generations of complex, interconnected technology: everything from a new cloud-based CRM, to upgrading legacy systems which run critical infrastructure,\u201d said Collins. \u201cDigital transformation efforts are proceeding apace and can produce huge benefits, but also add to the complexity of the enterprise ecosystem.\u201d<\/p>\n

Avolution produces the ABACUS software suite <\/a>used by companies worldwide to centralize and analyze the complex interconnected datasets needed to track technology infrastructure, processes and IT systems and support a successful business.<\/p>\n

Collins reported that operations had been very successful with growth exceeding forecasts. Demand for Avolution\u2019s browser-based web-app ABACUS Cloud<\/a> had been particularly strong.<\/p>\n

\u201cRevenue for ABACUS Cloud has far exceeded expectations,\u201d said Collins. \u201cFor enterprise architects who need to work quickly, providing data and analysis to steer the business, it provides an expedited deployment option.<\/p>\n

\u201cA raft of new data integrations<\/a> and analytic techniques in our latest ABACUS releases, as well as the tool\u2019s ability to adapt to existing datasets and broad support for industry-specific frameworks such as TOGAF, BPMN, BIAN and ArchiMate, have also been key to ABACUS\u2019 continuing popularity.\u201d<\/p>\n

In May, Gartner recognized Avolution in the Leaders quadrant for the Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Architecture Tools*, and customers have rated ABACUS 4.7 out of 5 (Gartner Peer Insights<\/a> as of September 20, 2017).<\/p>\n

Already in 2017, Avolution has won new business from a variety of global players including a semiconductor manufacturer, a leader in information analytics and numerous banks and financial services providers. The company is seeing strong demand for enterprise architecture software and services from the telecoms sector, with four national telecoms companies joining as clients. One of Scandinavia\u2019s largest food producers and distributors and a global medical device company also join existing FMCG and healthcare clients.<\/p>\n
